Software AG no longer operates as a stock corporation, but as Software GmbH (company with limited liability). Despite the change of name, we continue to offer our goods and services under the registered trademarks. 

During 2024, Software AG transitioned from being a publicly listed company to being privately owned.

As we are headquartered in Germany, one step of this process saw the company converting into GmbH status - ‘Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung’. This means that Software AG is now a brand of Software GmbH.

With this shift, you may have noticed a few minor changes to our logo, visual appearance and some references on the website.

Whilst Software AG is now a brand of Software GmbH, our customers, vendors, partners and colleagues, can all be assured that nothing else alters. As a business, we remain fully focused on our ARIS and A&N business units, both of which continue to deliver excellence for their customers and address significant market opportunities.

We look forward to continuing to work with you…albeit with a slightly different name!
